2. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. While waiting for the water to boil, carefully remove the core from the cabbage, then carefully separate the leaves. Blanch the cabbage leaves in the boiling water for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened. Remove the leaves and set them aside to cool.

3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent.
