Pizza Sauce Cookie

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and pizza sauce until well combined.

3. Add in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until incorporated into the butter mixture.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper.

6. Once the dough comes together, use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to portion out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.

7. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingertips.

8. If desired, top each cookie with a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese, a pepperoni slice, an olive, or any toppings of your choice.

9. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
